Job summary

Air Liquide Canada is seeking a Plant Engineer to deliver technical support to production teams, drive process improvements, and lead refurbishment projects while upholding safety, quality, and reliability standards in our Hamilton, Ontario plants.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance, manage local projects, and ensure compliance with management of change processes, risk assessments, and safety procedures in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering is required/preferred.
• 1–5 years of engineering experience, ideally in an industrial plant setting.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (>50 lbs) and work in physically demanding positions.

Responsibilities

• Solve operational problems and support plant start-ups and optimization.
• Develop specifications for production procedures and update existing ones.
• Identify changes to improve safety, reliability, and efficiency of plant processes.
