Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in business administration or engineering or 5+ years in meat processing with increasing responsibility.
• Experience with collective agreements and HR policies.
• Proficiency in computer applications including word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Shows leadership to production supervisors and hourly employees to ensure quality of work.
• Oversees production operations to meet customer specifications and business objectives.
• Achieves metrics for yield, labour efficiency, sanitation and overheads.
• Ensures fulfillment of customer orders within specifications.
• Communicates expectations and goals throughout the plant.
• Maintains a safe working environment and strategies to reduce accidents and waste.
