Job summary

Sunrise Farms is seeking a Sanitation Manager to lead all sanitation, cleaning, and wastewater operations in our Abbotsford facility. You will drive sanitation programs, ensure HACCP/CFIA compliance, and lead a team, while coordinating with Production, Maintenance, QA, and Health & Safety to achieve audit-ready performance.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and continuous-improvement mindset to protect product integrity and support operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years progressive experience in sanitation/food manufacturing.
• 5 years management experience leading sanitation teams.
• Experience managing third-party sanitation contractors.
• Experience leading regulatory, customer, and third-party audits.
• Certifications in HACCP or Food Safety are strong assets.

Responsibilities

• Lead sanitation team and drive safety, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain sanitation programs and SSOPs.
• Manage third-party sanitation contractors and vendors.
• Ensure HACCP, CFIA compliance during audits; lead corrective actions.
• Administer budgets and monitor sanitation-related costs.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, QA, and Health & Safety.
• Oversee wastewater treatment and environmental compliance.
• Report KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
