Job summary

Bedard Resources is seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to oversee all production activities at a Quebec facility, driving growth, quality and profitability objectives. You will manage day-to-day operations, plan and optimize plant activities, oversee inventory, ensure food safety and health standards, and lead a team through recruitment, onboarding and performance evaluations.

  • Education in production management, food processing, business administration or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day production operations.
  • Plan, coordinate and optimize plant activities.
  • Oversee purchasing, procurement and inventory management.
  • Ensure quality, productivity, cost and delivery targets are met.
  • Identify and implement improvements to increase operational efficiency.
  • Supervise, engage and develop plant employees.
  • Participate in employee recruitment, onboarding and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, as well as occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Analyze operational performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
