Messer Canada Inc. is seeking a Plant Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Calgary plant, focusing on safe, high-quality production and cost-effective performance.

You will supervise multiple departments, optimize scheduling, drive continuous improvement, and ensure regulatory compliance while developing talent and partnering with sales and engineering teams. This role offers competitive pay, benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering preferred, or 10 years in related operations.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Lab or Quality Management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, quality-focused operation of plant processes.
• Supervise production staff and department leads.
• Schedule production for on-time shipment and review lead times.
• Provide technical guidance to technicians and leads.
• Develop and improve production methods.
• Lead safety and quality metrics and KPI reporting.
• Manage plant budgeting activities.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations.
