Job summary

Messer is seeking a Plant Supervisor for Refrigerant operations at its Canada facility. You will supervise a small shift, ensure safe, efficient production, and coordinate cylinder distribution to branches.

Responsibilities include scheduling, inventory control in SAP, and driving continuous improvements while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. Competitive pay and benefits are offered in Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry)
• Experience in the compressed gas industry or petrochemical is an asset
• Minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, quality-focused operation and drive safety goals.
• Oversee production, filling and distribution activities and ensure equipment is in good order.
• Schedule manufacturing activities to meet on-time shipments and manage inventory.
• Lead bi-annual inventory counts and manage Kanban systems.
• Resolve operational issues and escalate where needed.
• Arrange and schedule third-party transportation for cylinder distribution.
