Job summary
Canadian Natural is seeking a Plant Maintenance Coordinator for Horizon Bitumen Production in Fort McMurray, AB. Reporting to the Maintenance Lead, you will oversee maintenance contractors and support groups to ensure adherence to safety, production, and quality standards.
The role demands strong leadership and hands-on expertise in industrial maintenance. You will coordinate schedules, manage hours per work order, and monitor performance while aligning with company policies and Lean Six Sigma
Qualifications
- 5 to 10+ years of industrial plant maintenance experience with leadership.
- Journeyman (Mechanical or E/I) ticket required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and drive consistency while holding maintenance contractors accountable to safety, cost and schedule.
- Develop schedules, determine hours per work order and monitor execution; report KPIs to scheduler.
- Collaborate with Reliability and Asset Integrity to address production risks.
- Monitor costs and utilization of rental equipment and cranes.
- Review and keep procedures compliant.
