Job summary

Outokumpu Chrome Oy is seeking a Manager for FeCr Plant Maintenance and Asset Management in Tornio, Finland. You will lead maintenance and asset management, drive safety, reliability and continuous improvement, and partner with plant leadership to shape long-term performance.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, planning and project execution, with fluency in English and Finnish, and collaboration across functions. A strategic position reporting to the Ferrochrome Plant VP.

Qualifications

• Requires technical engineering background and experience in maintenance, reliability and asset management.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to develop teams and individuals.
• Experience in budgeting, planning and project execution.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English and Finnish.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance and asset management organization.
• Drive strong safety culture and safe working practices.
• Improve equipment reliability, availability and asset performance.
• Manage operating budgets and contribute to long-term planning.
• Coordinate major maintenance activities, investments and improvement projects.
• Develop processes, competencies and ways of working within the function.
• Support achievement of production, quality, environmental and cost targets.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, procurement and external partners.
