Job summary

ThreePDS Inc. invites a hands-on Administrative Manager Plant Finance Leader (Controller) to Terrebonne, Quebec. You will drive financial stewardship, partner with operations, and oversee plant accounting, including cost accounting and monthly reporting.

This on-site role reports to the Area Controller and shapes profitability. Fluency in English and French is required; CPA/CMA/CA is preferred. The company offers a comprehensive rewards package and growth opportunities within a global

Qualifications

• CPA, CMA, or CA designation preferred.
• MBA, MAcc, or equivalent finance/accounting qualification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close with compliance (US GAAP/SOX).
• Maintain accuracy of plant financial statements and records.
• Prepare analysis of production, inventory, working capital, and month-end results.
• Review reports for accuracy and proper accounting treatment.
• Analyze trends, explain drivers, and recommend actions to improve performance.
• Lead annual operating budget, monthly sales forecasts, and capex budget.
• Partner with plant leadership to challenge assumptions and improve results.
• Review standard costs and updates to support product costing.
• Close production jobs; analyze material usage, labor, overhead, and variances.
• Assess capital projects and other business initiatives economically.
• Coordinate fixed-asset and physical inventory records.
• Support audits and ensure Quebec/Canadian compliance.
• Identify cost-reduction and continuous-improvement opportunities.
• Prepare financial analyses, presentations, and ad hoc reports.
