Zusammenfassung

Saputo is seeking a Plant Accountant to join the Plant Accounting team. This role reports to the Finance Manager and focuses on the analysis and evaluation of plant accounting transactions and reporting.

Responsibilities include weekly P&L forecasting, period-end journal entries, variance analysis, budgeting support, and process improvements. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifikationen

• University degree or diploma in accounting or related field.
• Actively pursuing CMA/CGA/CA is an asset.
• 3+ years of accounting experience in a production environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Knowledge and experience of SAP is an asset.

Aufgaben

• Weekly reporting of Plant profit & loss forecasts and other activity management reports.
• Prepare period end journal entries, financial statements, variance analysis and reports.
• Assist with budgeting and cost analyses.
• Analyze accounting transactions to ensure accurate reporting and provide insights.
• Support process improvements in transaction entry and reporting.
