Job summary

Recurrent Energy is seeking a Planning Coordinator to support the Renewable Energy Control Centre, focusing on PV and BESS assets. You will coordinate planned outages, maintenance activities, and switching with field ops, asset management, and engineering to ensure safe, efficient execution.

Education in Engineering or related field and 3+ years of operations coordination are preferred. This role requires strong planning, documentation, and cross-functional communication in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Renewable Energy, Electrical Technology, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in operations coordination, maintenance planning, control centre operations, or related environment preferred.
• Experience in solar PV, BESS, generation operations, or utility coordination is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with CMMS, work order systems, SCADA environments, or scheduling tools.
• Seven year international background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planned maintenance, outages, derates, testing, inspections, and operational activities for PV and BESS facilities.
• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and longer-range operational plans for control centre activities.
• Review planned work requests for scope definition, timing, and operational impact.
• Work with field technicians, regional managers, engineering, asset management, and third-party service providers to align execution plans.
• Ensure operational readiness with communication plans, staffing, approvals, and system availability.
• Maintain planning logs, schedules, trackers, and records related to maintenance, outages, derates, testing, and operational changes.
