Job summary

Recurrent Energy, a Canadian Solar subsidiary, is seeking a NERC Compliance Supervisor to support, coordinate, and strengthen compliance with NERC requirements within the Operations Control Centre for utility-scale PV and BESS assets.

The role interfaces with operators, compliance, engineering, cybersecurity, and external stakeholders to ensure processes are implemented, documented, and improved, maintaining reliability and audit readiness across 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in control room operations, utility/power/renewable energy experience.
• 2+ years in leadership or supervisory roles preferred.
• Experience with utility-scale solar PV and/or BESS operations preferred.
• 24/7 operations environment preferred.
• Direct experience in NERC-related compliance program management required.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and continuous improvement of NERC compliance programs in the Operations Control Centre.
• Translate reliability standards into practical control centre processes and work expectations.
• Maintain audit readiness and evidence retention practices.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support compliance program execution.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and summaries related to compliance status and open action items.
