The role of the Maintenance Planner/Scheduler is critical to the ongoing success of the Maintenance and Reliability effort. The Planner/Scheduler is responsible for developing comprehensive work plans, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, coordinating preventative maintenance, responding to emergency requests, and managing resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, organize, prioritize, plan, and schedule approved work.
• Drive CMMS conversion as a key user.
• Determine work priorities using risk assessment tools.
• Develop detailed work packages with all necessary information.
• Coordinate manpower with maintenance supervisors and schedules.
• Assess ongoing projects and job orders for prioritization.
• Ensure equipment availability aligns with operational schedules.
• Coordinate with teams and stakeholders for task execution.
• Create weekly and daily schedules.
• Manage third-party activities and contractors.
• Track and document all maintenance activities.
• Communicate status updates to relevant departments and management.
• Estimate work orders, including procedures, materials, safety, and permits.
• Coordinate material procurement with purchasing.
• Optimize preventive maintenance and maintain equipment BOM.
• Monitor workflow compliance and manage backlog.
• Adhere to safety and food safety regulations.
• Support emergency maintenance as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate:

• Mechanical or Electrical degree/diploma or related field.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in the food industry, including planning and scheduling.
• Experience with CMMS systems like SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of safe work practices and safety regulations.
