Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a maintenance professional based in Quebec to plan and coordinate preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities. The role requires collaboration with external contractors and preparation for plant shutdowns, while maintaining schedules and reporting on performance metrics.

Applicants should have 5–8 years in maintenance, strong Excel skills, and a college diploma in engineering or related field.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in a maintenance environment.
• Good knowledge of written and spoken French.
• Strong Excel skills and overall computer proficiency.
• Asset: Knowledge of Maximo (CMMS).
• College diploma in industrial/ mechanical engineering, planning, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance work.
• Coordinate work with external contractors.
• Prepare work for summer and winter plant shutdowns.
• Monitor the backlog of planned work.
• Compile performance indicators and prepare reports.
• Maintain maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate planning meetings with multidisciplinary teams.
• Represent the maintenance department in meetings related to upcoming maintenance activities.

How to thrive in this role?

5–8 years of experience in a maintenance environment;

Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and take initiative to improve processes.
