Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Reliability Analyst for the Maintenance, Buildings & Equipment Team in Dorval. The role focuses on analyzing maintenance data to identify trends, assessing RCM relevance, and supporting major incident investigations.

Collaboration with production, engineering and supply is essential to embed reliability in design and planning. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least five years in an industrial setting, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and

Responsibilities

• Analyze maintenance data: Identify trends and root causes of failures to propose solutions.
• Assess relevance of maintenance tasks using Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM).
• Support teams during major incidents and participate in investigations.
• Ensure data quality (history, failure coding) and develop analyses and reports.
• Coordinate across production, engineering and supply to integrate reliability into design and planning.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance systems for efficiency and performance.
• Train teams in preventive and predictive maintenance tools and techniques.
• Develop and monitor KPIs: MTBF, MTTR, availability rate.

• Analyze maintenance data: Identify trends and root causes of failures in order to propose sustainable solutions.
• Assess the relevance of maintenance tasks (Reliability-Centered Maintenance – RCM).
• Support teams during major incidents & participate in technical investigations.

• Train and raise awareness: Support teams in the use of preventive and predictive maintenance tools and techniques.
• Develop & monitor key performance indicators (KPIs): MTBF, MTTR, availability rate, etc.

How to thrive in this role?

As the ideal candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, combined with a minimum of five years of experience in an industrial environment.
• At least 5 years of experience in an industrial setting (aerospace, manufacturing, energy, or equivalent).
• Bilingual (French/English), both spoken and written.
• Prior involvement in continuous improvement projects.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Knowledge of safety standards and industrial regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, including rigorous root cause identification.
• Strong interpersonal communication and project management skills, with a strong service mindset.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems.
• Good knowledge of reliability and industrial maintenance concepts.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Experience with various modules of a CMMS (Maximo preferred).
