The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for two (2) Project Planners - Customer Services to join our Fleet Efficiency team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work jointly with the rest of the A220 Program organization in the objective to improve the A220 fleet performance in service.

Reporting to the Head of Governance & Business Planning, you will contribute to the basic mission of the Fleet Efficiency team to ensure safe & economic operation of the Airbus A220 fleet in-service while continuously improving Customer satisfaction.

The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Your role as Project Planner - Customer Services will be to work on the project management of the resolution of the A220 fleet major issues; create and manage the schedules of the different projects impacting Customer Support activities.

Your challenges:

  • Implement and follow schedule processes in order to ensure the Customer Support project’s objectives are successfully achieved;

  • Create a strong link with the A220 Customer Services Business Units to gain an in-depth understanding of critical business requirements;

  • Assist the Program Support team in project management of the In-Service issues in particular the coordination of the internal and external activities between the different A220 Customer Services Business Units;

  • Manage projects under your supervision based on the best project management practices (including LBIP) especially by putting in place the required planning and by doing its follow-up while managing interdependencies in your project and with the others;

  • Be responsible for utilizing project management software tools (Planisware) and techniques to create, maintain/update, and control the Project schedules;

  • Monitor project progress, update schedules as needed, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure projects stay on track;

  • Provide project schedule control by assisting the project team to manage changes to the project schedule which includes baseline change control;

  • Implement the required dashboard to follow project deliverables progression and any other related indicator;

  • Plan the right resources at the right moment of the project while taking into account the operational reality of deliveries;

  • Optimize project efficiency, resource allocation, and overall project success;

  • Implement the cost follow-up required for the projects under your management and ensure its maintaining;

  • Collaborate to financial exercises and to make the necessary follow-ups.

Your boarding pass:

  • You hold a university degree in Engineering, Business administration, Project management or the equivalent;

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a project management environment;

  • You demonstrate strong project management skills, including agile approach;

  • You hold a PMP certification (an asset);

  • You have experience with schedule management software such as MS project / Planisware (or equivalent Gantt chart);

  • You are comfortable to evolve in an environment where the priorities are changing rapidly;

  • You have a high level of commitment and sense of responsibilities while having the desire to share knowledge in project management;

  • You are a person concerned by the quality of the deliverables of the project;

  • You have a high level of autonomy, good time management and can manage multiple priorities at the same time;

  • You have good communication skills with an open-minded and proactive attitude;

  • You have critical mindset able to defend your point of view when necessary;

  • You are open minded, promote teamwork and act with leadership;

  • You are customer focused and behave with integrity at all times with no compromise;

  • You are dynamic, demonstrate innovation, commitment and perseverance;

  • You have experience at Airbus and/or on the A220 and/or in Customer Services (strong asset).
