Job summary

Pizza 73 is seeking an ambitious Regional Operations Manager for the Edmonton area to drive profitable growth, lead multi-unit teams, and uphold brand standards across all restaurants.

You will oversee operations, coach unit operators, ensure food safety and guest satisfaction, and partner with franchises to execute company programs. Availability to work 50 hours/week, including weekends and holidays, is required; travel 1–2 overnights per month is expected.

Qualifications

• 4−5 years multi-unit food management experience is an asset.
• QSR / Food sector experience, franchisor/franchisee environment preferred.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel (1–2 overnight stays per month).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and team-oriented mindset.

Before your pizza even arrives at your door, a diverse team of talented people make it happen, from the head office to the kitchen counter and we are currently looking for an ambitious, collaborative, and driven Regional Operations Manager to join our team.

As a Edmonton Regional Operations Manager you will be a critical contributing member of our operations team and responsible for the profitable growth of the business. Your high energy, focused, results driven nature, recognizes the importance of operational excellence, attention to detail, and getting results by developing and motivating unit operators.

General Leadership Responsibilities:

• Grow and Protect Sales and Increase Dividends.
• Lead and Manager Company Initiatives.
• Facilitate Operations Communication and Standards/Expectations.
• Drive customer satisfaction through established company programs.
• Review and manage unit operators performance using company financial reports.
• Ensure brand protection and proper food safety execution.
• Work with other department to ensure ongoing support of unit operators.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing communication to Unit Operators on company initiatives and priorities.
• Conduct periodic business reviews and Unit Operators to review performance.
• Assist in meetings, training sessions, webinars, etc.
• Facilitate the operations update on 4 business update calls.
• Support and maintain strong relationships with existing and new franchise partners.
• Responsible for overseeing and driving operational compliance in all restaurant operations and products.
• Provide direction/coaching/mentoring to each restaurant location.
• Ensure outstanding Guest Service experience and product quality.
• Drive compliance and participation of all operating initiatives, required certifications, policies and practices etc.
• Frequent restaurant visits are an integral part of providing support and face time with staff/operators/customers.
• Lead all new location openings or restaurant changeovers.
• Provide leadership by example and hands on approach.
• Act as the Brand/business ambassador at all times.

Requirements:

• 4−5years multi-unit successful food management experience an asset.
• QSR / Food Sector experience preferably within a franchisor/franchisee environment an asset.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and ability to travel (1 or 2 x overnight per month).
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Analytical thinking / persuasive communication skills with a positive attitude.
• A willingness to work in a team supported environment.
• A proven /demonstrated business success track record.
• A strong desire to achieve and passion for excellence.
• Both strategic and tactical with a "can-do" attitude and willing hands on approach.
• Because of the nature of Pizza 73'sbusiness, you must be available to work, Monday through Sunday and Statutory Holidays and agree to devote whatever time is necessary in order to properly perform your duties.
• You will be required to work 50 hrs per week and your week will include a minimum of one closing shift on a Friday or Saturday (until 3am) and one late night shift (until midnight) per week.
