Job summary

FLINT Corp. in Clairmont, Alberta is seeking a Pipefitter Lead Hand with hands-on piping installation and hydrostatic testing experience for a permanent role starting end of September, 2026.

The position offers a 12 Days In / 2 Days Out schedule, 10-hour workdays, and benefits after 300+ hours worked. Local candidates are preferred, but travel or relocation at own expense are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Lead Hand or supervisory experience in an industrial construction or maintenance environment.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience with pipe installation, fitting, assembly, and alignment.
• Demonstrated experience with hydrostatic testing of piping systems.
• Valid Journeyperson Pipefitter certificate/ticket.
• The following safety tickets are considered an asset: H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, WHMIS.
• English proficiency in written and verbal communication.
• Must have own reliable transportation with a clean driver’s abstract.

Job Description

FLINT is seeking a Pipefitter Lead Hand with strong hands-on experience in piping installation and hydrostatic testingfor a permanent role in Clairmont (Grande Prairie), Alberta starting end of September, 2026. In this position, you will enjoy a 12 Days In & 2 Days Out schedule, 10-hour workdays, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.

This position does not include camp accommodations, living out allowance, or travel allowance. Therefore, it is best suited for local candidates; however, those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous Lead Hand or supervisory experience in an industrial construction or maintenance environment.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience withpipe installation, fitting, assembly, and alignment.
• Demonstrated experience with hydrostatic testing of piping systems.
• Valid Journeyperson Pipefitter certificate/ticket.
• The following safety tickets are considered an asset:
• H2S Alive
• Standard First Aid
• WHMIS
• Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
• Must have own reliable transportation to site.
• Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits.

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
