Job summary

Jardeg is recruiting an electrician journeyperson to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Horizon site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for a long term maintenance role. Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary; camp accommodations and charter flights are provided.

Responsibilities include laying out, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing piping systems for process facilities. Mandatory journeyperson certification, Red Seal, and safety trainings are required.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Certification or Red Seal required/preferred.
• Valid apprenticeship demonstrated by documentation.
• Driver's Abstract and clean driving record.
• Pre-Access Drug/Alcohol test and mask fit compliance.
• CSTS 09 or CSO certification is expected.
• Confined Space, Fall Protection and AWP training.
• Basic Rigging competency required.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems.
• Work with piping components: measure, cut, thread, groove and bend.
• Use testing equipment to check leaks and troubleshoot fittings.

Jardeg is recruiting electrician journeyperson to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Horizon site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for long term Maintenance role. Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary. The shift rotation is 7 days on, 7 day off 7. Camp accommodation and charter flights (from Calgary or Edmonton) are provided by the company.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.
