Job summary

Jardeg is seeking an Instrumentation Technician Journeyperson to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Horizon site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for a long-term maintenance role. Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary.

The shift is 7 days on, 7 days off, with camp accommodation and charter flights from Calgary or Edmonton provided. Responsibilities include piping layout, fabrication, maintenance, and repair of systems carrying water, steam, chemicals, or fuel, plus testing

Qualifications

• Journeyperson certification required or Interprovincial Red Seal.
• Driver's abstract required.
• Pre-Access drug and alcohol test and mask fit required.
• CSTS 09 or CSO certification required.
• Confined Space - ESC certification required.
• Fall Protection - ESC certification required.
• AWP - ESC certification required.
• Overhead Crane and Rigging certification required.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems carrying water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in processes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Use testing equipment to check for leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.

Jardeg is recruiting Instrumentation Technician Journeyperson to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Horizon site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for long term Maintenance role. Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary. The shift rotation is 7 days on, 7 day off 7. Camp accommodation and charter flights (from Calgary or Edmonton) are provided by the company.

Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders who have been executing work at the Horizon site for over a decade. This is a permanent maintenance role starting as early as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.

• Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal
• Driver's Abstract
