Job summary

Pattison Agriculture Limited in Yorkton, SK is hiring a Casual Pilot Truck Driver to support our transport of oversized equipment from the dealership to customers and locations. You will assist the main Truck Drivers, log travel details, and ensure safe delivery with strong teamwork.

Responsibilities include loading/securement, vehicle inspections, and adherence to safety rules. Candidates should have a Grade 12, applicable licenses, and willingness to travel for some overnight trips.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent required.
• 1A Driver’s License and experience with heavy/oversized equipment assets.
• Agriculture background or knowledge of towing ag equipment is an asset.

• Operate Pilot vehicle during transport of equipment to/from customer and/or dealership locations.
• Record all time/distance traveled for assigned duties.
• Inspect Pilot vehicle before/after use and report any defects.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Build and maintain constructive and cooperative relationships with coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate Pilot vehicle during transport of equipment to/from customer and/or dealership locations
• Record all time/distance traveled for assigned duties
• Inspect Pilot vehicle before/after use and report any defects

• Build and maintain constructive and cooperative relationships with coworkers and customers

Requirements

• Know how to load, secure, transport a wide variety of cargo
• Ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, holidays, be on-call
• Adaptable to changing environment
• Knowledge of Electronic Logbook Device considered an asset
• A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent
• Agriculture background/experience, knowledge of towing ag equipment considered an asset
• Valid driver’s license
• 1A Driver’s License, experience driving trucks (to operate heavy, oversized and semi equipment) would be considered an asset
• Ability to travel for long periods of time; some overnight trips may be required
