Job summary

Bombardier is seeking an experienced Aircraft Certification Inspector with Transport Canada AME license to join our Dorval-based team. You will verify aircraft conformity, complete certification records, and issue Certificates of Airworthiness while supporting continuous improvement and QA collaboration.

The role requires a Diploma in aeronautical maintenance, TC license, and extensive experience in aeronautical inspection and regulatory compliance, with flexibility to meet schedule demands and

Qualifications

• Diploma in aeronautical maintenance is required.
• Transport Canada license in aircraft maintenance (AME) is required.
• Authorized Inspector (Category 1 or ACA) in Bombardier Aerospace is preferred.
• 10 years of experience in the aeronautical field, with at least 5 in technical domain and 2 in inspection of aeronautical products.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to verify products conform to type design data and are safe for operation.
• Complete Aircraft certification records and verify Aircraft certification documents.
• Review and acceptance of discrepancies and issue the Certificate of Airworthiness (C of A).
• Manage aircraft certification records and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the Quality Assurance department on several initiatives.

• Perform any inspections necessary to verify that the products conform to type design data and are in a condition for safe operation, pursuant to civil aviation regulations, Bombardier Aerospace Engineering and Quality Assurance standards and procedures, and ensure flight safety and safety of people and properties.
• Complete Aircraft certification records.
• Verify the Aircraft certification documents.
• Verify the Aircraft building documents.
• Perform the Aircraft Physical Inspection.
• Review and acceptance of discrepancies.
• Issue the ‘Certificate of Airworthiness’ (C of A) certificates.

• Support the Quality Assurance department on several initiatives.

How to thrive in this role?

• You hold a Diploma in aeronautical maintenance
• You hold Transport Canada license in aircraft maintenance (AME)
• You have held the position of an Authorized Inspector (Category 1 or ACA) in Bombardier Aerospace
• You have10 years of experience in the aeronautical field, 5 of which are in technical domain, and 2 years experience in inspection of aeronautical products
• Satisfactory practical experience with respect to Transport Canada’s airworthiness certification conditions and in regulatory requirements of other countries
• You have the flexibility to meet schedule requirement from the organization.
