Job summary

Bombardier Flight Operations in Montreal is seeking a seasoned flight test captain to lead production ground and flight tests, conduct customer acceptance and demonstration flights, and perform ferry flights while ensuring airworthiness and regulatory compliance through rigorous pre- and post-flight activities.

The ideal candidate holds a Canadian ATPL with a Class 1 medical, 3,500 hours total with 500 PIC on large multi-engine aircraft, and shows flexibility for irregular hours and travel; US

Qualifications

• Valid Canadian ATPL and a Class 1 medical.
• 3,500 hours total flight time with 500 hours PIC on large multi-engine aircraft.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and to travel on short notice.
• Previous flight test experience or strong technical background in certification or training is an asset.
• A US ATP is an asset.
• Right to work and live in Canada is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with a team.
• The ability to execute duties of aircraft commander while maintaining a positive relationship with crew and management.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

Bombardier Flight Operations has an immediate opening in its Montreal Flight Operations Challenger Flight Test.

In your role you will:

• Conduct production ground and flight tests for the purpose of validating the airworthiness of the aircraft.
