Position Summary

Pilates Instructors are responsible for supporting members by building relationships and providing a positive, educational experience that upholds the integrity of the Life Time Brand.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs to promote goal achievement and retention
• Monitor and instruct clients during Pilates sessions on the safe and effective use of equipment
• Conduct fitness consultations, including screening and goal setting, to recommend suitable Pilates training programs
• Instruct private and group Pilates classes
• Promote and sell Pilates training programs, classes, Group Fitness, and Personal Training
• Complete administrative tasks related to client fitness plans
• Maintain cleanliness of the Pilates studio
• Stay current with certifications and industry trends
• Educate members on health and fitness issues
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure members feel competent, confident, and connected
• Document all client programming details
• Continue education and credentialing to advance within the program
• Assist members on the fitness floor to ensure safety, provide education, and motivate

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of personal training experience
• Experience in Pilates program design
• Certified Pilates Trainer
• Trained and certified in Reformer, Tower, Chair, and Barrels
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks required
• CPR and AED certification

Preferred Requirements

• 150-400 hours of comprehensive Pilates certification covering Mat, Reformer, Tower, and Chair
