Job summary

Glebe Physiotherapy & Sport Medicine, part of Lifemark Health Group, seeks a Physiotherapy Assistant to support therapists in Ottawa's Glebe clinic. You will assist with client care, administer modalities, and help maintain a welcoming, efficient practice.

Ideal candidates hold PTA diploma or kinesiology degree, have clinic experience, and show a friendly, team-oriented approach. New grads to 5 years in a private physiotherapy setting are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• PTA diploma or Kinesiology degree preferred.
• Previous experience in a clinic setting.
• Friendly demeanor with strong relationship-building skills.
• New grads or 1–5 years in a private physiotherapy clinic acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physiotherapists with client care; including ultrasound and exercise programs.
• Administrative duties as required.
• Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals.
• Collecting outcome measure data.
• Maintenance and cleaning/sterilization of medical equipment.
• Inventory of clinical supplies.
