Lifemark Seniors Wellness is looking for a Part-Time / Full-Time Physiotherapy Assistant to join our growing team!

Location: Brockville, ON

Status: Part-Time / Full-Time

In this role you will:

1. Assist the supervising physiotherapist in implementing treatment plans for residents in care communities.
2. Perform treatments such as gait training, balance exercises, transfer training, range of motion, strengthening, and modalities (heat, ice, ultrasound, TENS) as prescribed.
3. Deliver group exercise classes that are dynamic, safe, and therapeutic.
4. Prepare and clean up equipment after treatments.
5. Maintain a safe and tidy treatment environment.
6. Communicate regularly with the physiotherapist about residents' status and treatment concerns.
7. Record treatments daily using the company's web-based system.

Qualifications:

1. PTA/OTA diploma, degree in Kinesiology, or similar healthcare qualification.
2. Experience in LTC setting is an asset.
3. Standard First Aid & CPR Certification.
4. Valid Vulnerable Sector screening check (within 6 months).
5. Proof of Tuberculin (2-Step Mantoux Test) clearance.
