Job summary

Medcan is looking for a licensed Physiotherapist to join its Sports Medicine, Therapy and Rehabilitation team. This Independent Contractor role requires a commitment of 2-3 half-days per week, with the possibility to extend as volume grows.

Candidates must hold a Physiotherapy degree and be registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, with at least two years’ experience in orthopedics and sports injuries. The pay range is $70 - $150 per hour based on various factors.

The Medcan Clinic is recruiting for a licensed Physiotherapist to join our high‑performing and fast‑growing team within Medcan’s Sports Medicine, Therapy and Rehabilitation service. This is an Independent Contractor position seeking a 2‑3 half‑day commitment with the possibility to build to full days as volume grows. The specific schedule/hours will be mutually determined and has some flexibility.

Clinic Locations

• York Mills (4120 Yonge Street)
• Markham (600 Cochrane Drive)

What You’ll Do

• Provide evidence‑based musculoskeletal conservative care.
• Demonstrate exceptional clinical care practices and professionalism.
• Integrate Chiropractic services into an existing collaborative practice environment.
• Work alongside physicians, physiatrists, orthopedic surgeons, massage therapists, fitness professionals and other physiotherapists.
• Emphasize inter‑professional collaborations through effective communication and coordinated treatment plans.

Position Pay Range

$70 - $150/hr. Medcan's Allied Health professionals are independent contractors. Remuneration for this role will be dependent on number of days worked, patient volume and level of candidate's experience and qualification. The above range pertains solely to base earnings based on fee split rates and is not inclusive of additional compensation details such as perks, benefits, and potential bonuses or incentives.
