Job summary

Role Description

The Physiotherapist will work on‑site in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, in a part‑time capacity, providing direct patient care within a multidisciplinary clinical environment. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include assessing patients’ physical conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence‑based physiotherapy interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities. The role involves monitoring patient progress, updating treatment programs, and documenting clinical findings and outcomes in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. The Physiotherapist will collaborate with referring healthcare professionals, communicate clearly with patients and families about treatment goals, and contribute to injury prevention and rehabilitation programs tailored to motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, sports‑related issues, post‑surgical recovery, and chronic pain.


Qualifications


  • Candidates should possess strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and hands‑on physiotherapy skills, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.

  • Candidates should possess skills in patient education, communication, and relationship‑building to support adherence, motivation, and a positive rehabilitation experience.

  • Candidates should possess skills in documentation, case management, and collaboration with healthcare providers, insurance representatives, and legal professionals.

  • Candidates should possess skills in time management, organization, and prioritization to manage a part‑time caseload efficiently in a busy clinical setting.

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure with the appropriate provincial regulatory body (e.g., College of Physiotherapists of Ontario).

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent, with current professional liability insurance.

  • Experience working with MVA, WSIB, sports injuries, post‑surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain is an asset.
