Job summary

SE Health in Ontario is hiring a Physiotherapist to join the Community Multidisciplinary Stroke Rehabilitation Program. You’ll assess, plan and deliver client-centered therapy in clients’ homes and communities, using a goal-directed approach to maximize independence and function.

You’ll work within an interdisciplinary team, have access to education bursaries and mentorship, and benefit from a comprehensive total rewards package.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physiotherapy program and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Experience in neurological rehabilitation is required.
  • Recent experience in acute/rehab or community-based rehab is preferred.

  • Formulating goals and recommendations.

Requirements:
  • A graduate of an accredited program in Physiotherapy and are a member in good standing of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Experience providing assessment and treatment within neurological rehabilitation programs is required
  • Recent experience in managing patients in acute/rehab or community-based rehabilitation programs is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team while supporting positive client outcomes.
  • Sound knowledge of community resources is an asset
  • Effective interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • A positive work and attendance record is essential
  • Ability to adapt to new computer applications
  • This role follows a hybrid work approach where you are able to work remotely and with the clients in their acute/rehab or community-based rehabilitation setting
