Salary: $31.66 to $41.1574 (2 step range)

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY

Reporting to the Director of Medical Affairs, this position is responsible for the execution of physician recruitment activities. In collaboration with the Physician Recruitment and Retention Consultant, the position will assist in the development and deployment of programs, policies and processes to improve physician recruitment, retention and medical administration.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • A bachelor’s degree in Administration (Health Administration preferred) or Human Resource Management plus a minimum of one year experience in human resource management or physician administration. A combination of education, training and experience may also be considered.
  • Broad understanding of the Saskatchewan healthcare system, oncology and/or other specialist care in Saskatchewan and elsewhere.
  • Knowledge of administrative principles and processes including policy development, data collection and analysis.

  • Communicate in a superior manner, both verbally and in writing, with a range of audiences including senior officials, physicians and their representatives, governments and the public. Use conflict resolution skills to create winning conditions.
  • Knowledge of culturally responsive care for First Nations and Métis people.
  • Influence and persuade others toward alignment with key priorities of the Agency, Division, Departments and system.
  • Work independently and as a member of cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Analyze complex problems and conceptualize, develop and implement innovative solutions and consider strategic options to deal with day-to-day problems.
  • Deliver results under pressure, realign priorities on short notice and effectively manage time.
  • Plan and effectively organize and execute complex strategies and processes while maintaining flexibility and adaptiveness.
  • Manage workload, establish priorities and organize multiple tasks while taking into consideration changing circumstances, frequent interruptions, competing deadlines, available resources and multiple stakeholders and/or customers.
