Job Description

This is a temporary position for up to (12) twelve months

Sinai Health is looking for an experienced Physician Assistantto support our Ambulatory Gynaecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecologyat our Mount Sinai Hospital Campus.

The Physician Assistant is an integral part of the busy and dynamic practice within theDepartment of Obstetrics and Gynaecology,in a tertiary referral centre in downtown Toronto. In this role, the Physician Assistant will work with a team consisting of three (3) staff gynaecologists and two (2) clinician fellows. The Physician Assistant will assist with all team activities including outpatient/inpatient clinical visits and procedures, patient lab/pathology monitoring and follow up, patient communication, and care coordination, as well as other activities and responsibilities as assigned, withinthe scope of the Physician Assistant role. The Physician Assistant will focus on patients with gynaecological disorders and pelvic floor dysfunction.

Mandatory

• Successful completion of a Bachelor of Science Physician Assistant degree (BScPA)from an accredited educational institution
• Current registration with College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)

Preferred

• Graduate of the Consortium of PA Education's 'Physician Assistant Professional Degree Program'
• Graduate ofthe McMasterPhysician Assistant Education Program
