Job summary

Sentrex Health Solutions is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for our on-site Calgary location. The role involves accurately dispensing prescriptions, maintaining inventory, and supporting patients and healthcare providers with a high level of service.

The candidate should be registered or eligible with the provincial body, possess a CCAPP-accredited diploma, and have 1–2 years of pharmacy experience. Proficiency with Kroll and knowledge of third-party plans are assets.

Qualifications

Registration as Pharmacy Technician with provincial regulatory body or eligible for registration.
CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician post-secondary diploma required.
1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting recommended.
Proficiency with Kroll preferred; knowledge of third-party insurance helpful.
Ability to communicate in English; other languages are an asset.

Responsibilities

Process prescriptions: data entry, refills, labelling, packaging, and dispensing.
Maintain accurate drug inventory and perform purchasing/receiving.
Provide customer service to patients and health professionals by phone/email.
Adhere to SOPs and regulatory requirements of the provincial pharmacy body.
Assist with storage of medications and cold chain management.
Participate in staff meetings and support pharmacy operations.
