Job summary

Interior Health is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join the Royal Inland Hospital Pharmacy Team in Kamloops, BC. This permanent full-time on-site role requires reliability, flexibility, and motivation to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will work under College of Pharmacists of BC standards and contribute to accurate prescription processing, patient safety, and efficient pharmacy operations within a supportive IH team.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education
• Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program
• Current practicing registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process prescriptions under College of Pharmacists of British Columbia standards.
• Assist in prescription preparation and processing in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Education

Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program

Current practicing registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia

About the Job

As a registered Pharmacy Technician, your role extends beyond traditional boundaries. You'll spearhead a range of technical functions in prescription preparation and processing, guided by the high standards set by the College of Pharmacists of B.C. and aligned with our organizational protocols.

This is a Permanent Full Time (1.00) opportunity working rotating day and evening shifts.
