Job summary

Interior Health in Fernie, BC is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our Elk Valley Hospital Pharmacy Team. You will support prescription preparation and processing in a fast-paced hospital setting, applying the standards of the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia and Interior Health protocols.

This is a Relief Full Time (1.0) position with rotating day shifts until the incumbent returns, offering shift premiums and employer-paid benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of B.C.
• Experience with prescription preparation and processing.
• Reliable, flexible and motivated in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical functions in prescription preparation and processing.
• Operate within College of Pharmacists standards and IH protocols.
• Contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced team in Elk Valley Hospital Pharmacy.
