Job summary

Interior Health is seeking a registered Pharmacy Technician to join the Royal Inland Hospital Pharmacy Team in Kamloops, BC. This permanent part-time 0.63 position involves prescription preparation and processing under the high standards set by the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program and active registration with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.

  • Current practicing registration with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process prescriptions in accordance with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia standards.
  • Work rotating day and evening shifts as part of a permanent part-time position.

About the Job

As a registered Pharmacy Technician, your role extends beyond traditional boundaries. You'll spearhead a range of technical functions in prescription preparation and processing, guided by the high standards set by the College of Pharmacists of B.C. and aligned with our organizational protocols.

Permanent Part Time (0.63) opportunity working rotating day and evening shifts until the return of the incumbent.

Qualfications
  • Grade 12;
  • Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience; and
  • Current practicing registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
