Job summary

Interior Health Authority seeks an experienced Pharmacy Technician for the Kootenay Lake Regional Hospital in Nelson, BC. The position is casual and focuses on prescription preparation and processing under the College of Pharmacists of BC standards, in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician in BC with current license.
  • Casual role; ~0–37.5 hours/week on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
  • Support diverse pharmacy operations and ensure accuracy.

About The Job

As a registered Pharmacy Technician, your role extends beyond traditional boundaries. You'll spearhead a range of technical functions in prescription preparation and processing, guided by the high standards set by the College of Pharmacists of B.C. and aligned with our organizational protocols.

This is a Casual opportunity. Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.
