Listowel Wingham Hospitals Alliance is seeking a pharmacy technician for a temporary, part-time role in Wingham. The successful candidate will dispense and compound medications for inpatients and select outpatients, following established policies and ensuring safe, accurate medication services.
Required are a Pharmacy Tech diploma with certification, Ontario College of Pharmacy registration, and 3–6 months of related experience. Weekend and holiday work may be required.

The Listowel Memorial Hospital has been providing acute care and complex continuing care services to the residents of North Perth and the hospital’s catchment area since 1919. Our fully accredited hospital offers a wide range of primary and secondary services including 24-hour emergency services. In-patient and out-patient care, specialist clinics and supportive diagnostic services. The Hospital has an active staff of 10 Family Practitioners as well as several consultant staff.
The Wingham and District Hospital is a modern, progressive acute care facility providing medical, surgical, obstetrical, paediatric, chronic and rehabilitation bed and other services, including 24-hour emergency coverage.
The Registered Pharmacy Technician will follow established policies and procedures in entering, dispensing and compounding prescription medicine to inpatients (and some outpatients), to maintain drug pharmacy and automated dispensing unit inventory, narcotic and controlled inventory according to the Narcotic & Controlled Act, and per Ontario College of Pharmacy dispensed accurately (double checked) to provide a safe and effective medication service to our patients. This is a temporary, part-time position that is anticipated to begin as soon as possible and extend through March 31, 2027. The successful candidate will be available Monday to Friday (7am-3pm or 7:30am-3:30pm). Will also have the ability to work some weekends and holidays.
