Job summary

Jean Coutu affiliated pharmacy in Sherbrooke is seeking a laboratory technician dedicated to patient care and accurate prescription preparation. You will greet clients warmly, collect data for prescriptions, and assist with non-sterile compounding in a clean, compliant lab environment.

The role offers flexible scheduling, opportunities to learn, and a collaborative team atmosphere aimed at delivering excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• If you do not have a pharmacy technician diploma, we will train you.
• If you do have one, it is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Be the first contact with the clientele, making them feel at ease with your welcome, empathy and professionalism.
• Identify the needs of the clientele by collecting data for prescription preparation.
• Prepare prescriptions and detect potential problems for the clientele.
• Make non-sterile preparations.
• For some PJC, prepare pillboxes.
• Ensure the hygiene and tidiness of the laboratory to facilitate its proper functioning.
