Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group in Brossard, QC, is seeking a pharmacy assistant who welcomes clients warmly in French and communicates with English-speaking customers as needed. You will help collect data for prescriptions, prepare medicines, and support pillbox preparation while maintaining a clean, organized laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• French language: Very good knowledge.
• English language: Basic knowledge.
• Regular communication with English-speaking clients/patients and partners.

Responsibilities

• Be the first contact with the clientele, so that they feel at ease; your welcome, your empathy and your professionalism will be put to good use.
• Identify the needs of the clientele by collecting the necessary data for the preparation of prescriptions; prepare prescriptions and detect potential problems.
• Prepare prescriptions and detect potential problems for the clientele; For some PJC, prepare pillboxes.
• Ensure the hygiene and tidiness of the laboratory in order to facilitate its proper functioning.

To hold this position, it is possible:

• Holding a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) as a Pharmacy Technical Assistance is a strong asset
