Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group is seeking a pharmacy assistant to warmly welcome customers, collect data for prescriptions, and help prepare medications with care. You will help ensure accuracy and patient safety in a welcoming, team-oriented environment.

Training is provided, and the role offers flexible hours and a competitive benefits package. A DEP in Pharmacy Technical Assisting is a strong asset, with excellent French language skills valued.

Qualifications

• Possess DEP as Pharmacy Technical Assistant is a strong asset.
• Full paid training offered.
• French language: Very good knowledge.
• 35 hours per week or more; flexible hours available.

Responsibilities

• Be the first contact with the clientele, so that they feel at ease; your welcome, your empathy and your professionalism will be put to good use
• Identify the needs of the clientele by collecting the necessary data for the preparation of prescriptions
• Prepare prescriptions and detect potential problems for the clientele
• For some PJC, prepare pillboxes
• Ensure the hygiene and tidiness of the laboratory in order to facilitate its proper functioning

Job description

Within your team, your essential role will be:

To hold this position, it is possible:

• Holding a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) as a Pharmacy Technical Assistance is a strong asset
