Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support dispensing prescriptions, assist with pharmacy services, and help maintain daily operations according to Pharmacy Standards of Practice.

You will deliver courteous customer service, assist in data entry for prescriptions, and collaborate with Pharmacists to resolve inquiries while ensuring accuracy and privacy. Local training and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Pharmacy Assistant certificate preferred.
• Experience in pharmacy operations is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and collect prescription information per Standards.
• Assist in dispensing and prescription processing with Pharmacist oversight.
• Process third-party billing and manage related documents.
• Handle cash register and maintain confidentiality.
