Qualifications

• High School Diploma (education credential)
• Diploma or certificate in Pharmacy Assistant preferred
• Previous Pharmacy Experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Commitment to customer service and privacy standards

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and collect prescription information per Standards
• Process prescriptions and assist pharmacist as needed
• Adjudicate third-party billing and manage third-party accounts
• Answer phones and route to pharmacist when appropriate
• Maintain and file documentation per Pharmacy Standards of Practice
• Support prescription preparation and data entry for new prescriptions
• Label, package and count medications accurately and efficiently
• Ensure confidentiality and privacy requirements are met
