Shoppers Drug Mart is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support dispensing prescriptions and pharmacy services while maintaining daily operations per the Pharmacy Standards of Practice. The role emphasizes accuracy, customer care, and efficient workflow in a community pharmacy setting.

You will greet customers, collect prescription details, assist the pharmacist, perform data entry for new prescriptions, and help with filing, calls, and third-party adjudication, all while upholding confidentiality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Pharmacy Assistant diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous Pharmacy experience is an asset.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Good problem solving and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and gather prescription information.
• Assist pharmacist and refer clinical inquiries as needed.
• Enter data for new prescriptions and manage refill processing.
• Count, package, and label prescriptions per standards; maintain confidentiality.
