Shoppers Drug Mart is seeking a Pharmacist to manage overall pharmacy operations, provide patient and provider consultations, and dispense medications in alignment with expanded scope services.

The role emphasises accuracy, privacy compliance, and collaboration with health care professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. A strong focus on customer service and professional conduct is required.

Qualifications

• Plan, coordinate and delegate assignments and provide coaching to Pharmacy colleagues.
• Proven ability to drive and build the business, lead by example and support enterprise programs.
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism.
• Strong problem-solving skills including experience formulating and executing action plans.
• Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of Pharmacy systems a definite asset.
• Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed to provide a healthy and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation to customers and health care providers.
• Dispense medication and ensure accuracy of prescriptions.
• Maintain records per legislation and policy.
• Communicate with other health care professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Manage privacy requirements and consent preferences.
• Assist in workflow and inventory management within the dispensary.
