Responsibilities

• Acknowledge all customers approaching the Pharmacy and provide counselling on prescriptions and over-the-counter products
• Practice within federal/provincial regulatory requirements and maintain privacy and consent management
• Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions dispensed and communicate with other health care professionals
• Maintain records required by legislation, standards of practice and policy
• Control access to the dispensary and review daily workflow queues
• Review stock levels, will-call bins and expired inventory and oversee pharmaceutical orders
• File incident reports for any medication or privacy incidents
• Read and act on store communications and contribute to financial reporting as appropriate
