Job summary

Neighbourly Pharmacy invites applications for a Pharmacy Manager at Rita's Apothecary & Home Health Care in Barrhead, Alberta. You will lead and develop the pharmacy team to deliver exceptional patient care, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee dispensing, inventory, and clinical services.

The role requires Alberta Pharmacists license in good standing and injection certification with APA. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and contribute to P&L

Qualifications

• Licensed with the Alberta College of Pharmacists in good standing.
• Injection certification and APA are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Oversee all pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, dispensing, inventory, compounding, clinical care and patient counseling.
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible patient care.
• Maintain effective communication, scheduling, team direction and implement new/updated policies and procedures.
• Perform staff performance reviews and support with recruitment, training and development.
• Promote a positive work environment and ensure labor policies are upheld.
• Collaborate with the Front Store team to enhance patient care and service offerings.
• Actively seeks out new and innovative ways to improve processes.
• Manage P&L statements and achieve key operational targets.

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacist
• Injection certification and APA are required
