Job summary

Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a full-time Pharmacy Manager to join Pharmasave in High Level, Alberta. You will lead the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient care, oversee dispensing, inventory, compounding, and regulatory compliance.

You will liaise with other healthcare professionals, manage staffing and performance reviews, and implement new policies. Competitive compensation, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits support professional development.

Qualifications

  • Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacists.
  • Strong leadership and team mentoring skills.
  • Excellent communication with healthcare teams and patients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and motivate the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Oversee dispensing, inventory, compounding, regulatory compliance and patient counseling.
  • Liaise with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain scheduling, direction and implement policies and procedures.
  • Conduct staff reviews and support recruitment, training and development.
  • Foster a positive work environment and ensure labour policies are adhered to.
  • Collaborate with Front Store to enhance patient care and services.
  • Pursue process improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Manage P&L and achieve key targets (labor, inventory, expenses).

Job description

Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a full-time Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Pharmasave in High Level, Alberta.

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Oversee all pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, dispensing, inventory, compounding, clinical care and patient counseling.
  • Liaise with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible patient care.
  • Maintain effective communication, scheduling, team direction and implement new/updated policies and procedures.
  • Perform staff performance reviews and support with recruitment, training and development.
  • Promote a positive work environment and ensure labor policies are upheld.
  • Collaborate with the Front Store team to enhance patient care and service offerings.
  • Actively seeks out new and innovative ways to improve processes.
  • Manage P&L statements and achieve key operational targets (including but not limited to Labor, Inventory, Expense control)
Qualifications
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacist
  • Injection certification is required
  • Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA) good to have
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team environment
