Job summary

FreshCo in Williams Lake, BC is seeking a friendly, knowledgeable Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. You will support daily pharmacy operations including prescription data entry and customer service to ensure accurate medication management.

Ideal candidates have a Pharmacy Assistant Diploma (preferred) and experience in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask are essential.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Assistant Diploma preferred.
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prescription assembly – data entry.
• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions).
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries.
• Promote Profile programs.
• Compounding.
• Pill Pack Assembly.
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning.
• Drug order creation and receiving.
• Schedule professional clinical services (i.e. medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state managements etc.).
• BTC management.
• Administrative duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TMLs, manual third parties.
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards.
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as required.
