Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. in Montreal is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Assistant to support dispensing prescriptions, assist with pharmacy services, and help maintain operations according to Pharmacy Standards of Practice.

You will provide friendly service and help customers navigate prescription workflows. Responsibilities include greeting customers, data entry, third-party adjudication, filing, and assisting pharmacists with call-backs.

Formación

• High School Diploma required or preferred.
• Diploma from a Pharmacy Assistant credited course preferred.
• Previous Pharmacy Experience preferred.
• Effective organizational skills, ability to multi task.
• Problem Solving Skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customer promptly and gather prescription information according to Standards.
• Refer to the pharmacist all clinical inquiries and set realistic wait times.
• Locate and cash out prescriptions and any ancillary items.
• Adhere to confidentiality and privacy requirements.
• Receive new and repeat prescription orders per SOPs.
• Prepare and submit orders excluding controlled drugs.
• Adjudicate third party billing and manage third-party accounts.
• Assist pharmacist in coordinating call backs and file documentation.
