Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support dispensing prescriptions and assist in delivering pharmacy services. You will participate in maintaining the pharmacy operations and provide superior, timely, and pleasant service to customers.

Responsibilities include data entry, prescription preparation, and ensuring confidential handling of information per practice standards, with emphasis on customer interactions and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Pharmacy Assistant diploma preferred.
• Previous Pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and gather prescription information.
• Refer clinical inquiries to the pharmacist.
• Refer patients to pharmacists for counseling as needed.
• Maintain and control the cash register in the dispensary.
• Adhere to confidentiality and privacy requirements.
• Receive new and refill prescription orders per procedures.
• Enter data and manage prescription processing and third-party billing.
